Ready for Spring....

I am so ready for warmer weather. The older I get, the more cold weather gets me down. The up side to being snowbound is more creative time!!
I enjoyed a quiet mini retreat over the weekend. It was an anniversary gift from D. It was so thoughtful of him. I had the best time all alone with my thoughts and my sewing. I watched the Olympics, several old reruns of Criminal Minds that I had never seen and HGTV. I had the tv right in front of me. Pizza, wine and junk food topped the retreat. I completely finished a quilt top and half of another one. They are only 47x47 table toppers, a St. Patrick's Day one, and a cherry themed one. I'll post pics soon.
Slowly feeling better day by day. Still sleep more than I want to, but I guess I need it.
My boys are in the midst of cleaning out their rooms and preparing for daddy to paint. It is sad that they are getting rid of items they no longer use or want. I have a hard time parting with things, I must admit. I am no hoarder, but I sure need to work on paring down without tripping down memory lane every time.....lol
